Abstract We present an immersed boundary projection method for flow-structure interaction problems involving rigid bodies with complex geometries. Dynamics of a body interacting fluid flow and kinematics other undergoing prescribed motions are coupled implicitly the incompressible vorticity equations. In particular, is formulated in frame reference fixed on under (the target) so that system can be solved non-iteratively, accurately, efficiently.
